DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund Launches DSPBR FMP- 12M- Series 14

DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund has announced the launch of DSP BlackRock FMP- 12M- Series 14. The New Fund Offer (NFO) will open for subscription on February 8, 2011 and will close on the same day itself. The minimum investment in the scheme would be Rs 10,000 and in multiples of Rs 10 thereafter. It would offer Growth and Dividend Option.

You will be better off sticking to the tried and tested schemes.   For the past one year, to cash in on the bull run in equities, mutual fund houses have gone on a new fund offer (NFO) overdrive. But experts are unanimous in their advice: avoid NFOs . While past performance is not an indicator of how a fund will fare in the future, it does tell the investor how skilful the fund manager is.
