Daiwa Mutual Fund has announced to introduce the option of Daily STP (Systematic Transfer Plan ) with effect from July 16 ,2012

 

The following terms and conditions are to be taken note of :


a) A unit holder can switch a fixed amount of at least Rs. 500 per transaction.
b) The start date of daily STP shall be the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st or 28th as the case may be for the period concerned.
c) A minimum of 12 transfers has to be submitted for daily STP.
d) Daily STP shall commence either after 3 working days from the date of receipt of valid request from the unit holder or from the effective date stated by the unit holder, whichever is later.

The period between January and March typically sees an uptick in the launch of fixed maturity plans, or FMPs. Not this year. Instead, fund houses are busy rolling over or extending the tenure of their one- year FMPs launched last year to three years. Investors in one- year FMPs have a choice.
