The main differential factor of Pinnacle over others is the minimum return of Rs 20 per unit guaranteed under the plan, assuring a minimum of 7% compound annualised return yearly. However, the guaranteed highest NAV is provided only at maturity and not on surrender or on the death of the investor. The Pinnacle fund has given a return of 14 % in the past year, which is not comparable to pure equity funds, but is better than its peer in the category.
