Net Asset Value (NAV) of Mutual Fund
The Net Asset Value or NAV is the price per unit of a mutual fund. A mutual fund will typically invest in multiple equities or securities, and the NAV gives you the actual price of every unit of the consolidated mutual fund. The NAV is calculated on a daily basis, meaning that the dynamics of the stock or securities markets are taken into account only at the end of the trading session and the consolidated prices used to come up with the NAV figure.
You can find the NAV of a listed mutual fund from various sources such as the official website of the fund or company that is managing the fund, aggregating websites, ICRA, newspapers or other financial online and offline publications which give daily NAV figures.
